This version has a wireless battery pack. The battery pack is 5000 mah. Both styles use MagSafe to hold the phone in place. iPhone 13 and newer iPhones support wireless charging. Most Newer cases have MagSafe support as well. The easy way to tell is to look for a ring or see if a magnet sticks to the case without the phone. I have tested a few Android devices, and the ones I have tested have started charging when in the correct place. There are also MagSafe cases for most smartphones.
